I’m a big fan of long, smooth, luxurious locks (who isn’t?!). It can be hard to maintain healthy hair especially if our diet or lifestyle falls short. Enter hair masks. As someone with chemically treated locks, hair masks have definitely become my best friend! I notice such a difference when I use a mask over a traditional hair conditioner – my hair is super shiny and maintains that soft, clean feel for days to come. Whether you treat your hair or are a regular heat tool user, hair masks have something for everyone! I’ve experimented with a lot (and even tried making my own!) and the following three are ones that I simply cannot live without. Try all three or stick to one, you’ll fall in love with how amazing your hair will feel afterwards. 1. Nature Lab – Perfect Repair Treatment Masque
There’s good reason for this one being at the top of my list and really fitting to have ‘perfect’ in the title! I can’t say enough good things about this mask. One use, read ONE use, and I felt such a huge difference in my hair. It immediately felt strong, SO much softer, and beyond shiny. Even my hair stylist was in awe of how great my hair felt. With all the treatments and heat styling I’ve done to my hair, this mask truly does help bring it back to life. It’s thick formula stick to those locks until your ready to rinse and has a lovely, subtle flower scent. Your hair will love you forever!
2. Beyond The Salon – Reconstructive Masque
Another great option for those of us who love our heat styling tools! When applying this one, concentrate on your ends specifically as it’s great for treating those split, dry ends. When using this one I love to apply to my roots then wrap my hair in a tight bun and clip in place while giving it time to work it’s magic. If there was one thing I would change about this mask is I wish it had better scent game! What can I say I’m all about beautiful smelling hair.
3. Lush – American Cream
Speaking of scents, this one knocks it out of the park! If you’ve even visited a Lush store you know you’re immediately greeted with a host of incredible natural scents! This one definitely lives up to that. I’ve received so many compliments on how great my hair smells whenever I’ve used this one. Technically, this is more of a hair conditioner so it’s not as thick as the brands mentioned above but it still works wonders, leaves your hair strong and healthy, and smelling incredible! I love the natural ingredients found in Lush products as well – total win win!
