I’ve been very fortunate to have been introduced to some SUPER yummy Korean dishes via my love who’s half Korean and has grown up with such amazing Korean cuisine. Whether you’re a fan of Korean BBQ (or perhaps over indulged in it a time or two – it’s OK we’ve all done it!) or have never touched a short rib in your life, this marinade is super versatile and will leave you wanting more. Although recommended on short ribs, beef, or pork, this can also pair very well with your fav veggies! Feel free to amp up the spice if that’s your thing. Most importantly, enjoy those juicy ribs!
Korean Short Rib Marinade
Ingredients
6 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
1-2 Green Onions, sliced
1-2 Cloves Garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds (try toasting them for an extra nutty flavor!)
1 teaspoon Korean Crushed Red Pepper (Gochugaru)
Pinch Black Pepper
Step 1:
In a medium bowl or large ziplock bag, add all ingredients and combine to develop flavors. Add short ribs (this amount of marinade will be enough for about 1/2 pound) or veggies and refrigerate for 30 minutes or overnight for best flavor!
